In light of the emergency measures taken by the governments of Belgium and Luxembourg in response to the outbreak of the Coronavirus Covid-19, and based on the lockdown decision taken by the Belgian National Security Council today and for your own safety and the safety of others, the Embassy will follow a safe and flexible plan of work:
– To take action only on urgent consular applications.
– Working hours will be from 11.00 to 13.00 yet the Embassy kindly requests applicants to call and make an appointment in advance to make sure we can serve you fast and effectively preserving the priority of your own safety and others’, also abiding by the Belgian official emergency plan and instructions.
– Please do not just walk in the Embassy. Please do not come with children or the elderly for their own safety.
– Most Embassy staff will work from home.
– The Embassy will do all it can to serve you all while preserving the safety of everybody.
– The Embassy will notify you of any changes or developments with regard to the guidelines above.
